I shall miss sitting next to Mary when I eventually return to the Chamber Choir. She was so knowledgeable and always ready to help anyone who might be struggling with a tricky passage. She was a real lady; so petite and elegant and always beautifully dressed. I didn't know her very well, or for very long, but I sensed she had a mischievous streak. We often had a little chuckle together. Her presence and her lovely smile lit up the alto section of the choir. She will be greatly missed by all of us. May she RIP.
